John has been learning instruments, writing songs, and forming bands since middle school in Harrisonburg. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he played music professionally for over a decade. He has many years’ experience teaching English in a public school setting, as well as private music lessons.

Barbara Camph is a glass artist of more than 45 years whose art can be found at www.barbaracamph.com.  She is a member of the downtown Harrisonburg co-op OASIS Fine Art & Craft.  Barbara loves music of any genre and attends as many live concerts as she can.

Mike Lee is a Harrisonburg native, educator, musician, and photographer who holds a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from Indiana University. Mike enjoys playing a wide variety of genres from fingerstyle to jazz to 90s pop. He has led numerous groups and accompanied notable Americana artists including Jason Wilbur (John Prine), Jerry Miller, and Nate Gibson.

Jacob Penrod is a Harrisonburg native who appreciates the oddities that can be found in the deepest nooks of the world of music.  He joined Rocktown House of Music because he believes in its mission of creative and collaborative music education.  When he’s not tinkering with music he practices law at Hoover Penrod PLC.
