About Rocktown House of Music
In 2024, a group of musicians, teachers, professionals, and arts administrators began talking about forming a new organization for Harrisonburg that would provide a community space for music lessons, jams, concerts, and other community events. Out of these discussions, Rocktown House of Music was formed. In early 2025, we found property in which to house the center, and are opening in Fall of 2025.

John Hostetter is the Artistic Director of Rocktown House of Music. John oversees the teachers, curriculum, and programming.
